Fallacy Detection

Fallacy Detection

Q Now that we've talked about a bunch of different fallacies, I want you to identify them "in the wild," as it were. Here's what I want you to do. Find a paper or article online (it doesn't have to be new or recent) and critique it for fallacies. Choose an article in which you can find at least three fallacies. Identify these fallacies by name and write me a short explanation as to why they're fallacies. You must provide a link to the article you use, and the article must be a source that is (at least somewhat) credible. That means no YouTube comments, Instagram posts, tweets, etc. This assignment is not part of your regular grade. Not doing it will not reduce your current grade. However, if you properly complete this assignment, I will replace your lowest regular quiz grade with a 10.
